Questions
What is the difference between private lease and business lease?
Private lease is for individuals and is paid from your personal income. Business lease runs through your company; the costs can then be business costs, but private use usually means an addition to taxable income.
Is a private lease registered with the BKR?
Yes. Private lease contracts are registered with the BKR (Dutch credit registration office). This can affect other loans or a mortgage.
Does a request through 123 Lease cost money?
No. A request is free and without obligation. If you sign a contract, we may receive a fee from the leasing company.
Can I lease if I have not lived in the Netherlands for long?
That depends on the leasing company. They often ask for a valid residence document, a Dutch address, a Dutch bank account and proof of income. Mention your situation in your request.
What happens if I drive more kilometres than agreed?
You usually pay a fixed amount per extra kilometre, so it is better to choose a little more.
Can I end the contract early?
Usually yes, but often for a fee. The terms differ per leasing company.
